WONDERING HOW TO SELL MORE AVON PRODUCTS?

Check out these tips below:

1) OPEN DOORS WITH COLOR PRODUCTS AND PERSONAL CARE
    
Color and Personal Care items are an affordable sales point for customers!

Buy demonstration items and samples in multiple shades and let your Customers find their favorites!

Talk about fashion trends. Suggest your favorite shades and scents! Remember you are now a beauty expert!

and no matter the season, customers will always need:

Lotion: Moisture Therapy, Skin So Soft
Foot Products: Nail Polishes, Foot Works

These are examples of Personal Care essentials that your customers can buy from you YEAR round!

2) BUILD YOUR BUSINESS WITH FRAGRANCE SALES

Always Wear Avon fragrance! You will never know when someone will stop you and say... "What fragrance are you wearing?"!!

So be sure to carry samples of the perfume you are wearing and brochures so that you can be prepared for a quick sale!

Keep this in mind:

SUCCESS HAPPENS WHEN PREPARATION MEETS OPPORTUNITY!

Also be sure to make your sale fun and interactive! Ask questions to your customer like:

"How are you feeling?"
"Who are you buying this fragrance for?"
"What does she (or he) like?"
"What kind of fragrances does she (or he) wear?"
"Tell me a little about the lifestyle or personality of the person you are buying this fragrance for!"

Carry the Scented Fragrance Selector for on-the-go recommendations (and as a backup in case you run out of samples!)

Gift the product!! Remind customers that holidays like Christmas and events like birthdays are perfect times to give fragrances as a gift!

Point out scented brochure pages and/or attach fragrance samples to the brochure! Then FOLLOW UP to get feedback.


3) SKIN CARE CAN CREATE LARGE EARNINGS FOR YOU!

Avon has a wide selection of Skin Care products for people with different budgets!

The benefit of selling skin care is that once a person finds a product that works for them, they hardly EVER change! This means that finding your customer the right Skin Care product can make your customer become a LOYAL customer of yours!

So...

Know the facts! Read and reference the Essential Skin Care Guide and the Skin Care Conversation Card to break the ice. (If you do not have these tools, please contact me)

Share your personal experience! How can you recommend a product that you have never tried?! Think about it, your customer may ask you... "Have you tried it?". What will you say?

So, how do you prepare yourself for that question?

Become familiar with our Avon skin care line by finding your own Avon Skin Care regimen! Let your skin be a testimonial to Avon products! (Please contact me and I will help you find an Avon Skin Care line that will be perfect for your skin!)

Your customer will compliment you on your skin once you use the products! Even people you may not know will compliment you! And that is your chance to tell a person HOW GREAT our skin care line is! (It happens to me ALL the time! :) )

At best... purchase different skin care samples so that you can try it for yourself. Even if you tried the product once, you can offer to your customer how the product smelled, how the product felt, and more!

Even better, visit avon.com to view the testimonials that people have written about different skin care products! Then you can tell your customer... "Customers are saying that this product really works for them! One even mentioned..." and add that person's testimonial.

Listen to your customer's needs. Tell them how to incorporate anti-aging or acne products into a daily routine!

Examples: 

If your customer says:

"I really don't have the time to take care of my skin". Offer them just a face wash and face lotion.

If your customer says:

"I don't really wash my face at night". Offer them a face wash and a DAY cream.

If your customer says:

"I am already using a product on my skin". Ask them if they are pleased with what the product does. If not, then order them samples of the product line you think will work for them and have them try it for a week to see what they think. If they do like the product, ask them how much it costs? If it is more expensive, show them how much a comparable product of ours costs! Then ask them to try our products for one week to see if they may be able to save money by using our products.

If your customer says:

"I don't need skin care". Tell them that they should at least use a mild sunscreen to protect their skin from the harmful sun rays which can cause skin cancer. And show them a product from the Avon care line. The Avon care line is our most basic skin care line. 

4) MAKE SURE YOU CONTINUE THE SALE!

Every 2 months ask your customer if they are running low on the products they purchased! If so, mention that now may be a good time to reorder so that they have a new bottle before the one they have runs out!
